The old Cafè del Nen, which we now know as "El Bar del Coro", was a meeting point from the beginning of the Castellers de Vilafranca, who rehearsed during the first years in the corral located behind that establishment. Later on, the Penedès Choral Society - popularly known as El Coro - gave them some premises to hold board meetings and to deposit material there.

The corner of Plaça de Sant Joan in front of the bar became a regular rehearsal place when the weather was good, while the chapel of Sant Joan performed the same functions on cold days.

This was the case until the end of 1983, when the purchase of the property number 11 on Carrer del General Prim, known as Cal Figarot, suddenly changed all those routines.

Casa Raventós i Via, popularly known as Cal Figarot, consists of a neo-Gothic building from the end of the 19th century and an adjacent ship, of later construction, acquired by the gang in 1998 and which has enriched the Castellers' heritage . Both properties have been rehabilitated to be able to carry out our activity there. Of the nave, we can highlight that it is an interior space that has 600 m2. Of the neo-Gothic building, it is worth noting the sober aspect it exhibits, full of noucentist details that would serve as inspiration for different buildings in the Villa. Here we have the different departments of the group such as the secretary, the archive, the multipurpose rooms and the restaurant-cafeteria service. However, if there is one outbuilding that stands out above the others, it is the magnificent courtyard, the true nerve center of the social premises. Cal Figarot is today a manor visited and admired by the castellan world.
