The walnut tower with lining it is the most difficult castle ever managed to load. Unlike the tower again with lining and shackles. the lined walnut tower (also called the shackleless walnut tower) dispenses with the second support base, so the difficulty of construction increases exponentially.

The first attempt by the gang from this castle was on All Saints' Day in 2004, with Lluís Esclassans as gang leader. Only a few months later, we managed to load the tower of nine with lining for the first time in history on Saint Felix Day 2005. This happened when the gang had not yet managed to unload the tower of eight, a fact that still adds more significance to the feat.

The difficulty of the castle is highlighted by the fact that it has only managed to be loaded twice more, both by the Castellers de Vilafranca, on All Saints' Day in 2011 and 2012. To date, none other gang managed to load it.
