Next Tuesday, November 13, a delegation from Castellers de Vilafranca will participate in the "We Are Culture" event, part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, organized by the Catalan Tourism Agency.

The Catalan Tourism Agency will present the cultural legacy of Catalonia at the Grand Palais in Paris, taking advantage of the exhibition that brings together 150 works by the Catalan artist Joan Miró. The landscapes of Priorat and Montsant that so inspired the artist's work will be the ideal framework to promote the cultural heritage and tradition of the castells of Catalonia.

During this event, the book "Catalogne Vue du Ciel" by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, republished by the publishing house Martinière with the collaboration of the Catalan Tourism Agency, will also be presented. The Castellers de Vilafranca already collaborated closely with this renowned photographer in the making of the documentary film "HUMAN" released in 2015.

The collaborating entities of this event are: Costa Daurada Tourism Board, Terra i Taula Kitchen Collective, Le Meridien Ra, Celler Mas Roig, Celler Capçanes, La Conreria D'Scala Dei, Adernats, Castellers de Vilafranca, Castellers de Paris, Les Editions La Martinière, and the Fondation Good Planet.

This event is a new opportunity to promote Catalan culture in general and castells in particular in the international arena.
