The day of the patron of the gang will be on Sunday, with the Moixiganguers of Igualada as a guest gang

 

This Sunday, September 26, the Castellers de Vilafranca will return to the square to continue with preparations for All Saints' Day, now that the Procicat has authorized the partial resumption of castle activities. On this occasion, it will be on the day of Sant Miquel, patron saint of the group. A regular day in the gang's calendar, especially in the years of the Castles Competition in Tarragona.

The day will be at quarter past one in the afternoon in Plaça Jaume I, in Vilafranca. As in the performance of the Night of the Xarel·los, the space will be delimited and the access of the public will be controlled, which will have chairs to be able to follow the performance, as established by the popular culture protocol. Before that, at 12 noon, the Castellers de Vilafranca will participate in the mass in the basilica of Santa Maria, also in honor of Saint Michael. As usual, they will raise a pillar there.

Sunday's will be the first performance in which the Castellers de Vilafranca will share a place with another group since the pandemic began. It will be with the Moixiganguers of Igualada.
