The Greens will perform in emblematic places such as the Ángel de la Independencia, the Teotihuacan pyramids or the Zócalo square

At the end of this week the Castellers de Vilafranca travel to Mexico, to perform in some of the most emblematic places in the Mexico City area and the nearest states. Between Thursday and Friday, a total of 200 castellers and castelleras will travel there.

Once there, the first performance will be on Saturday, November 18, in the caves that the Penedes company Freixenet has in Ezequiel Montes, in the state of Querétaro. The next day, Sunday, the gang will stay in Mexico City. In the morning they will perform at theAngel of Independence and, in the afternoon, at Monument of the Revolution. Both, places much loved by the residents of the country's capital.

On Monday the 20th, the people of Vilafranca will move to Teotihuacan, "the city of the gods", where at 10 in the morning they will perform at the well-known pyramids in the area. declared World Heritage by Unesco. The next day, Tuesday, in the morning, Cal Figarot will perform at Bicentenary Park and, in the afternoon, in Plaza de la Constitución, known as plinth, which is the largest square in the world.

On Wednesday, the people of Vilafranca will take the bus again to go to the state of Puebla, to perform Cholula de Rivadavia, a place that was the second largest and most important city during the Aztec civilization and that still preserves much of the architecture of the colonial era. On Thursday, the castellers and castelleres will have the day off and, finally, on Friday November 24, the Spanish Hospital, in an action by Banco Sabadell.

With this trip to Mexico, the Castellers de Vilafranca reaffirm their commitment to dissemination of the Casteller fact and Catalan culture throughout the world, as they have already done on multiple occasions throughout Europe and on international trips such as Chile, the United States, India or China. On this occasion, the organization of the trip has had the collaboration of the Government delegation of the Generalitat in Mexico.
