The people from Vilafranca want to consolidate the castells again to face a July full of challenges
Castellers de Vilafranca will perform in Barberà del Vallès, this Sunday afternoon. The Greens will participate in the day of the Festa Major of the Vallesana population, together with the Castellers of Sabadell and the Xics of Granollers. The performance will start at 18:30h and the Castellers de Vilafranca intend to consolidate the castells that they have already released this year to start July on a good footing. The Greens want to bring two castells back to Barberà, but it will depend on how many castellers go to the day. Buses from Vilafranca will leave Cal Figarot at 5:00 p.m.
Precisely, July presents itself with many castellers challenges for those in the green shirt. They have already announced their intention to bring the 4d9 without lining to the Pla de la Seu day next Saturday, July 8 in Tarragona, if the tests confirm it. In addition, since the beginning of the season, the Castellers de Vilafranca have fixed the performance in which the first ten-man castle of the season will be held on the day of Vilanova (July 29).
Despite these challenges, the Castellers de Vilafranca are cautious and reiterate that everything will depend on how the tests go. Their team leader, Toni Bach, asks for the involvement of all castellers in the tests that remain to make the goals possible. According to Bach, these next rehearsals are "very important to achieve everything we set out to do".
