The Castellers de Vilafranca are once again performing in an emblematic place in Alt Penedès to reclaim the territory and explain everywhere where they are from.

As has happened on other occasions, the Castellers de Vilafranca have once again made an action to claim their region, Alt Penedès. This time, the chosen space was the Castle of Olèrdola, an archaeological complex that forms part of the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia. In fact, the centenary of the start of its excavations was celebrated there last year.

Those from Cal Figarot erected several castells in different spaces of the archaeological complex. They unloaded the 4 of 7, the 4 of 8, the 5 of 7, the tower of 7 and a bay of 5.

In this one link you will find photos of the performance.

The next performance of Castellers de Vilafranca will be on Sunday 8 May at the Castellers de Sants Anniversary. The day will be at half past 12 noon in Plaça Bonet i Muixí, together with the hosts, Castellers de Sants, and Xiquets de Tarragona.
