Castellers de Vilafranca will organize the 20th edition of the Paella Competition next June 11 from 11 am in Cal Figarot. As usual, uA jury will evaluate all the pans that will enter the competition and after lunch the three first prizes will be awarded, in addition to a prize for all participants. Year after year, the paellas of the participants surprise both the jury and the spectators who spend the morning at the Vilafrancin headquarters.
The day will start at 11 am and registrations can now be made at the Cal Figarot bar until June 5 or by sending an email to social@castellersdevilafranca.cat. The price of the registration is 5 euros per person (includes bread, water, wine, cava and dessert) and for children up to 12 years it is free. As for the popular paella, the price is €10. The organization will provide butane, burner, pan, tables and chairs.
