Castellers de Vilafranca install a defibrillator at their headquarters, with the collaboration of Penedès Medical Services
This week, Castellers de Vilafranca launched a defibrillator at their social headquarters, in Cal Figarot. The Vilafranca gang has installed an AED on the terrace of Cal Figarot to be able to act quickly in the event of a cardiovascular emergency at the headquarters itself or in its surroundings. With this installation, the Castellers de Vilafranca turn Cal Figarot into a cardio-protected space. To do this, a dozen people related to the gang and the social headquarters had to take a training course to know how to operate the device in question.
The Castellers de Vilafranca consider that the installation of this defibrillator is a necessary step in a group as important as the Greens. Cal Figarot is one of the most visited spaces in Vilafranca and the region and, therefore, the Castellers de Vilafranca have taken this step as a gesture of social responsibility. Castellers de Vilafranca have turned Cal Figarot into a cardio-protected space thanks to the collaboration of Penedès Medical Services.
