The Greens will organize three very different sessions to taste all kinds of wines, with an unusual oenological experience

 wine tasting

Castellers de Vilafranca will organize three wine tasting sessions from Tuesday 6 June. The sessions will be one each week and the subject matter will vary in the three tastings. The sessions will be at Cal Figarot, on Tuesdays 6, 13 and 20 June from half past 9 in the evening. It is an activity open to anyone who wishes, even if they are not members of the Greens. The aim of these tastings is to introduce yourself to the world of wines and enjoy a different oenological experience.

Each tasting will be guided by different specialists in the world of wine who, in most cases, have some relationship with Castellers de Vilafranca. The first session (June 6) will be led by Josep Ribas and will focus on Xerès wines. In this tasting you will get to know the particular wines of this area. The second session (June 13) will be led by Sergi Castro and Carles Mata, from Bodegas Torres. In this case, the test will be titled "Do you want to play? Blind tasting with wines that will surprise you". The third and last session (June 20) will be hosted by Fèlix Garcia and Carles Marín "Mendi" and it will be possible to learn about some wines made with minority varieties.

Tastings will start at 8:30 p.m. and registrations can be made by sending an email to social@castellersdevilafranca.cat . The registration fee is €10 (€15 for those who are not Castellers de Vilafranca members) and there is a special price of €25 (NON-members, €40) for the pack of 3 sessions.
